Persistence & knowing when to throw my hands in the air & say " I've eaten ENOUGH BS ! Be ignorant on your own time & your own dime ! "sometimes flipping them the finger. I *DON'T* suffer fools who have a critical thinking deficit gladly. Unfortunately dad's side of the family has 'em by the bushel..... 🤤🤤

yes! If all politics is in the end local then the most local and most important politics is the unit of the family; and it's where we can make the most impact. Keep trudging!

Politics very likely started within a tribal community, intertribal relations, etc.

I feel this same way. I go back to the Mother Teresa quote all the time: "If you want to change the world, go home and love your family." Right now, it feels like there's hope in my kitchen. Even if that's the only place, it's one.

I am there with you - I do NOT have to listen to his voice..and I have a niece who will be turning 18 before the mid-terms and I am hoping she will be eager to vote...
